Lots Of Pictures

These pictures have been taken over the summer but I never had a chance to add them until now. This one is of the boys "bonding". Both Randy and Connor LOVE youtube. Here is one of their rituals of watching the motorcycle races/crashes on the computer.

Cute Kyler. His hair is almost the same color as our bedding! Where did he get that light hair??

Connor and his friend Laurel from next door. She is about a year younger than him. They play so cute together!

Kyler and his red bear. We had a hard time getting him to sleep in his crib through the night when he was about a year old. One trip to the D.I. he found his best friend...a red bear. He takes it everywhere. I don't think it is going to last too much longer. In this picture it has both eyes. But it currently has only one eye, and it is barely hanging on. I love this picture. I could decide if I liked the sephia or black and white better so I added both.

Just some more decor touches. This is a guest bedroom downstairs. Looks like there was some dust on the lens on this one.

Finally got a somewhat decent picture of me with the boys for my website. I cannot tell you how many times we've tried to get one in the last year. They are such wiggle worms!

Does anyone hate to wear shoes as much as I do?

I'm as barefoot as it gets! I just don't like shoes! When I used to work outside of the home, the first thing I would do is change into my pajamas when I got home. I love comfortable clothing and I hate shoes!

Warning!! Graphic photo below...it really grossed out Randy when he saw it!

I have been mowing the lawn a lot this past summer as Randy has been working a side job after work and does not have time to do it. But long ago I realized I did not like having grass stains on my shoes from mowing the grass, so I do it barefoot!

I have a little of the "green feet itis" afterwards, but it usually disappears within a few days. This picture was taken just before I scrubbed my feet down after a hard day's work of mowing. Randy always knows when I mow the lawn because of my feet!

Watch Out Drivers! There Is A New Biker In Town!!

Randy has a new bike. It is a 2006 Suzuki SV1000S. Also known as a sports or bullet bike.

Despite the bullet bike reputation, Randy's research has proven to him that it is a safe bike to ride if you use some caution and don't drive ultra fast (like the videos on you tube.)

With the gas prices going up, he wanted something that could get him more miles to the gallon for the commute- 45 minutes each way. So he started saving and researching...until the perfect bike came around. He got a sweet deal off of ebay and this bike only had 1100 miles on it when he bought it. We were lucky to time it so Randy's brother Dave could pick it up for him from Vegas. We were able to meet the family down in St. George this last weekend for a baby blessing, and pick up the bike. He took it to work for the first time yesterday. He leaves for work early in the morning so he wore his ski pants to stay warm. I'm sure it was a funny sight to see. Luckily by the end of the day it was warm enough he did not need to wear them again.

Here he is on the bike...

A casual stroll in the neighborhood today.

Our Wonderful "LABOR" Day Weekend

Randy actually got this weekend off for the Holiday. The first weekend for a very long time without us having to head out of town for something. I've been really stressed out trying to get the house ready for the selling it. I have people even coming today to take pictures for a virtual tour of the house. So naturally our weekend turned into a project weekend...which I loved! We got so many things done...it was really really nice. I finished the doors and they look great.

I decided that we should go to dinner last night to celebrate. We decided to go for Mexican food with the restaurant Mi Ranchitos. Well, wouldn't you know it...our car that we have had for 8 years decided to overheat on us. Leaving us about a mile from the restaurant. We had a Carls Junior and a Taco Bell across the street from us...but we wanted Mexican!!! So we discovered the stroller in the trunk and that we brought a blanket for the kids. And we went for it! We walked a mile each way for mexican food. And it was good! We had a little of the storm over the weekend so there was a chill in the air. It was a fun walk and we all had a great time at the restaurant. We topped off the evening with their fried ice cream...yum! Good thing we were walking off a little of those calories! Since we hardly ever eat out it was all worth it.

Hmm...I wonder how many times of the car overheating would warp the head enough that the car goes Kaput! Any recommendations on your favorite family vehicle??
