Goodbye Red Bear!!

Kyler recently lost his dear friend...the red bear. He has been desperately attached to it (along with his red blanket) for a little over 2 years now. The pair met unexpectedly one day on a spontaneous trip to the DI. We were having some trouble getting him to sleep through the night. While walking down a toy isle he found his red friend and was instantly attached to it. It has been a constant companion ever since...going on trips, grocery shopping, friend's houses, car rides...you name it, he brought it along.

Recently, Kyler has had the problem of bringing things into stores and setting them down to look at things. It was on a long day of errands that we realized it must of been left somewhere and after calling every store, we came to the realization that both the red bear and red blanket were gone forever. What to do???

Well, we made another trip to the D.I. to see if he could possibly find another friend to get him through the nights.

He chose another red bear and a soft tan dog. Ahh... life can now go on happily.

(In this last picture...Connor just saw his spiked hair in the mirror and was trying to "fix it" by watering it down. Earlier he had sprayed half a bottle of hairspray on it and Randy spiked it. LOL! I guess he had no idea how it looked until he saw it in the mirror!)

Connor has been doing really well with his speech and amazed me 2 weeks ago when he wrote his name by himself after only 2 times of me showing him.

He has been going through lots of paper ever since. He practices and reads it to me, he also writes Kylers name.

He is still perfecting recongnizing the capital and lower case letters. I think it is awesome that he picked up his name so quickly...especially since it is 6 letters. The last name might take a little more time. :)
