Tut, Tut looks like a train!

A perfect way to celebrate a 5th birthday...a train ride! We took the front runner on saturday up to Ogden for Connor's Birthday. He loves trains! We also got a healthy dose of rain on us while we were there. I can't believe all the rain we've been getting!!
They were so excited! Connor struck a pose for almost all of his pictures. Usually with a peace sign. Where is my little boy going??

Right next to the station in Ogden, they have some older trains for kids to explore and climb on.

All aboard! Both Connor and Kyler took turns calling for tickets please!

After we got there, we found ourselves in the middle of the Ogden Arts Festival (right at the train station). There were bands playing, belly dancing, lots of artwork and vendor booths, lots of kids activities and exhibits. Connor and Kyler ended up painting fans, hats and making art prints. Connor really wanted his face painted, so Randy waited in line for an hour while we did crafts. Thank you Randy!!

He has to make a mean face for his pictures because of the batman. I couldn't get him to smile after that point!

He chose the motorcyle balloon. Kyler's dinosaur broke before we could even get back on the train. :(

On the ride home Connor was looking at this oversized poster for a while.
And sure enough, he had to kiss it! I wasn't fast enough to catch it with the camera but it was pretty funny to watch. He turned around and was embarrased by all the people watching him and laughing.
And of course, little brother has to follow in his footsteps.

Happy Birthday Connor! We love you!
