Yippeee! The pictures are in!

I've been doing some trade work over the last month for a company called Cultural Hall. They make really pretty temple and christ pictures (kind of like the ones that are in deseret book-the style is just slightly different). They sell in Costco locations and almost all of the workers are people trading hours for artwork. My first order just got finished and I can't wait to get them on the walls. The christ pictures are Del Parson and the temple pictures are taken from their photographers. They give them a very vintage look, which I love!!!

Here are the first 3 pictures. I haven't fully decided my second order...but I am so excited!
This is the Bountiful Temple. I had them put our information on it. You can't tell but this one it huge. It is 30x47.

This one is called "In the Arms Of His Love"

This one is my favorite. It is called "Perfect Love".

One good side note. I worked at night so Randy could be home with the kiddos. Kyler is now starting to warm up to him! I guess it took me being gone for him to realize that daddy is ok to be around too.

Connor's Prayers and some recent pictures

This kid is just getting too cute! Last night was the first time that he said a prayer by himself at the dinner table. Usually he needs to repeat what I say, or just starts and ends right with inaudible gibbering inbetween. This time when I asked him he just started going! He was talking about Jesus, naming everyone in the family and asking to go to the beach. I had to cover my mouth so he didn't know I was laughing. It was so-o cute! I guess he had alot of fun in December when we went to the beach, because he does ask about going again quite a bit. Maybe we need to start planning the next beach trip...after all, he prayed for it!

Connor with his fireman costume on during the winter. He was trying to chip the ice off of his sandbox!

Helping in the kitchen. He LOVES to shred potatoes.

Showing his 5 story block house. I walked in and he had built it all by himself. Notice the bandaids on almost every picture. He loves bandaids lately!

Coupon Craziness!!

I am loving Walgreens lately! Now that I have it pretty much figured out, it is helping me to stock up on things like soap, toothbrushes, shampoo, baby wash, etc. We've worked on our year supply of food but have never had a good supply of the non-food items. This is what I got today...

I spent a total of $9.72 for all of this. I started with $20 register rewards and ended with $23. My reciepts show a total savings of $193.25. . Isn't that madness? Who would of thought that couponers got such good deals!! I certainly didn't.

I got..
8- 2 liter sodas
7 toothbrushes
4 toothflosses
4 listerine mouthwashes
4 cereal boxes
3 pedipal nutrition bar boxes
3 tylenol cold boxes
1 tylenol nightime cough
2 sambucol flu reliefs
2 dove deodorants
14 bars of dove soap
1 colgate toothpaste-with bonus toothbrush
1 aeropostle tank top

I know Natasha and Le'esa have posted a little about couponing. Does anyone else coupon?? I remember my mom couponing when I was little, but the internet really helps beginners like me know the deals out there. I would be interested to hear people's favorite stores and techniques. :)

Silly Connor Sayings

Connor has really improved in the last month with his speech, which has allowed his creative imagination to come out a little. Here are some of the cute things he has been saying...

The other day I had the hiccups.
Connor: What is that?
Me: It is the hiccups.
Connor: Oh, Connor has the pickups.
Me: Oh really. You have the HICCUPS?
Connor: That is right. Connnor has the pickups.

One night we were getting Connor ready to bed.
Connor: Come on, mommy look at the moon.
Me: There it is! I see the moon.
Connor: It is a cheese moon.
Me: The moon is made of cheese?
Connor: That is right. A cheeseburger.

Yesterday Randy gave Connor a lecture about his garage. Connor loves to play in the garage so Randy let him know it is his space with his (toys) tools.
This morning Randy walked in Connor's room to get socks out of the closet.
Connor: Daddy, this is Connor's garage.
Randy: Oh! (chuckling) Ok. Connor's garage.
Connor: Yes, daddy. Stay out. It's Connor's.
