This was the first year that they both got to see Santa in person. Connor also wrote a letter for him at school and mailed it.
We had a christmas breakfast at church a couple weeks ago were Santa came. They didn't have time for him to talk to each child, but we snuck a quick picture in for them.

Then Santa arrived at Connor's class party. All of the kids started jumping up and down when they saw him. He hadn't had the chance to ask Santa for his bumblee transformer in person, I thought that was naturally what he would say when he got Santa's attention. But he instead used the opportunity to ask santa if his reindeer can fly and if he needed a drink of water. So cute!!
Then on tuesday we went to Thanksgiving Point to see santa and get pictures. I was a little concerned how different each santa looked from each other, but this santa was a natural. The boys were so excited to see him they were yelling hi and goodbye as we came and went. Connor asked another good question about us not having a fireplace and santa told him he would use his magic key.

Then on christmas eve, the boys accidentally stumbled acrossed their christmas presents. We were devastated and they promptly were sent to there rooms as we tried to figure out what to do. The whole problem was that they found the bumblee transformers that santa was supposed to bring them. How would we explain it without pushing santa more or lie to them? We decided not to mention santa at all and I took a quick trip to the store to get 2 more transformers to go with it, that would be from santa.
Turns out, there was not too much linking in their minds from the presents they found. They were still excited at bedtime to wake up and open presents and excited to get their presents from santa. So I guess we are safe for another year...I just need a better hiding spot away from curious boys!
