Halloween in St. George

Halloween this year happened to fall on a Monday, and what was supposed to be the boys first day of school in St. George. I wasn't sure whether to dress them in their costumes or what. So we brought them along, just in case. Turns out the Halloween parade was on Friday here, so the boys missed it. Also turns out that the boys could not go to school the first day. They had a rule that the teachers needed to prep, so the boys would start school the day after.

So...Halloween with no school, what to do. The house was covered in boxes and we knew very little of what was going on in town. Randy had headed up to Salt Lake to work so I was on my own.

Natasha and Dave had invited the kids to go trick or treating in their neighborhood a little later. So I googled Halloween in St George and found out the Mall did trick or treating a bit earlier. Since it was down the street from us, we got ready and went down there.

There were tons of people but it was fun. There was even a bat flying around (which the boys loved.)I was the Queen Of Hearts, missing my Mad Hatter in Salt Lake.

Corbin learned really fast that he got a piece of candy at each house we stopped at.

And Connor had to call his dad to tell him the good news when he realized he could pop a bubble gum bubble all by himself. :)
